Our free online tool that allows you to easily convert charset/encoding of text files to another charset/encoding. From an user point of view, a human-readable string is an array of characters. But, in order to store this text in a computer, an encoding (character set) must be used. How to Use This Tool
- Select the original text file with size less than 10 MB with the “Browse…” button.
- Select the desired charset from the pull down menu “default is UTF-8”.
- Press the “Convert!” button.
- The Link that contains you new encoded text file will appear at the page bottom, download it to your computer. Just select where you want to save it.
